General Winery Information

1. Is Valensin Vineyard & Winery 21 and over?
Yes. Valensin Vineyard & Winery is a 21-and-over property. Children and infants are not permitted.

2. Can I bring outside alcohol?
No.
Outside alcohol is never permitted on the property at any time.

3. Can I bring outside food?
Outside food is permitted on Thursdays and Saturdays during our regular tasting experiences.
Outside food is not permitted during Friday and Sunday events unless specifically stated in the event description.
Guests are welcome to bring a cake or cupcakes to help celebrate a birthday or special occasion.

4. Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are recommended for wine tastings, events, paddle experiences, and group visits.

5. Are pets allowed?

Service animals are welcome.
Pets, emotional support animals, therapy animals, and companion animals are not permitted on the property.

6. Can I swim in the lake?
Swimming is only permitted during our public paddle events.
Swimming is not permitted at any other time.

7. What are your hours?
Please visit our website for current tasting room hours, event schedules, and seasonal updates.

8. Do you host events throughout the year?
Yes. We host a variety of events including live music, themed brunches, paddle experiences, wine club events, and seasonal celebrations throughout the year.

Paddleboarding

🏄 Paddleboarding
1. Can anyone paddleboard anytime?
No.
Public paddleboarding is only available during our designated paddle events:
Paddle & Pour (Second Sunday of each month)
Glow Paddle (Select Fridays)
Outside of these public events, paddleboarding is reserved for active wine club members during regular business hours.
Please note: Outside alcohol is never permitted on the property, including during paddle events.

2. I’m not a wine club member. When can I paddleboard?
Non-members may paddleboard during our public paddle events only.

3. I’m a wine club member. When can I paddleboard?
Active wine club members may paddleboard during regular business hours, even when a public paddle event is not scheduled.

4. Can I bring my own paddleboard?
Yes, during a public paddle event or if you are an active wine club member paddleboarding during regular business hours.
Bringing your own board does not provide access to paddleboard outside of these times.

5. Does my Paddle & Pour or Glow Paddle ticket include a paddleboard rental?
NO. Event tickets and paddleboard rentals are separate purchases. If you need a rental board, we recommend reserving your paddleboard first, as rental quantities are limited and may sell out. Once your paddleboard rental is secured, you can purchase your event ticket.
Guests are also welcome to bring their own paddleboard during public paddle events.

6. Do you rent paddleboards?
Yes. Paddleboard rentals are available during public paddle events and select experiences, subject to availability.

7. Do I need a life jacket?
Life jackets are recommended for all participants. If you would like to wear a life jacket, please bring your own.
Life jackets are included with paddleboard rentals, but we do not provide life jackets for guests bringing their own boards.

8. Do I need a waiver?
Yes. All participants must complete a waiver before entering the water.

9. Can I take wine on the water?
Yes. Wine purchased from Valensin Vineyard & Winery may be taken on the lake. Outside alcohol is never permitted on the property.
Please enjoy alcohol responsibly and paddle at your own risk.

10. Why don’t I see paddleboard reservations available every weekend?
Public paddleboarding is only offered during designated paddle events. If you are interested in paddleboarding outside of those events, consider joining our wine club for member paddle access.


Large Groups & Group Reservations

1. What is the maximum group size that can book online?
Groups of up to 8 guests may reserve online.
If your group is larger than 8 guests, please contact us directly before booking so we can recommend the best option for your group.

2. Can we make multiple reservations for a larger group?
No.
Multiple reservations do not guarantee seating together and may not be accommodated in our public tasting areas.
Reservations that appear to be made separately for the purpose of accommodating a larger group may be modified or canceled at the winery’s discretion.
If your group is larger than 8 guests, please contact us directly before booking.

3. We have a large group and would like to enjoy wine and lunch by the lake. What should we do?
Please contact us directly before booking.
Depending on your group size, date, and desired experience, we may recommend a group reservation, VIP table, or private space.

4. How do I know if I need a private reservation?
If your group would like dedicated space, decorations, extended time on the property, is a large group, or exclusive use of an area, a private reservation may be the best option.

5. How do I plan a visit for a larger group?

wine tastings

1. Do I need a reservation for wine tasting?
Reservations are recommended and may be required during busy periods.

2. Can I just stop by for a wine tasting?
Yes. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability, though reservations are recommended to ensure we can accommodate your visit. Note we do not offer wine tastings on Friday and Sundays. Friday and Sundays are event days and wine can be purchased by the glass, bottle, or wine slushies.

Our wine tasting experiences typically range from $15–$25 per person, depending on the tasting selected.

Yes.
Outside food is permitted on Thursdays and Saturdays during our regular tasting experiences.
Outside food is not permitted during Friday and Sunday events. You may bring a cake or cupcakes to help celebrate a birthday or event.

7. Can I bring outside alcohol to my wine tasting?
No.
Outside alcohol is never permitted on the property at any time.

8. Do you serve food?
We do have charcuterie available on a first-come, first-served basis. Food availability may vary by day.

9. Can non-drinkers attend a wine tasting reservation?
Yes. Non-drinking guests are welcome.
We also offer mocktails and other non-alcoholic beverage options for guests who prefer not to drink wine.

10. Do you offer slushy flights?
Yes. Our slushy flights are only available on Thursdays.

Events & Tickets

1. Do I need a ticket to attend an event?
Most special events require a ticket. Please refer to the event description for specific details.

2. Can I purchase tickets at the door?
Tickets may be available at the door if the event has not sold out. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance.

3. What happens if an event sells out?
Once an event is sold out, additional tickets are not guaranteed.
If tickets become available due to cancellations, they will be released online on a first-come, first-served basis.
We do not maintain waitlists for sold-out events.

4. Are tickets refundable?
Event tickets are generally non-refundable.
If you notify us at least 48 hours before the event, we may be able to transfer your ticket to another event within the same calendar year.

5. What happens if it rains?
Most events take place rain or shine. If an event is canceled or rescheduled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, ticket holders will be notified directly.

6. Does my Paddle & Pour or Glow Paddle ticket include a paddleboard rental?
No.
Event tickets and paddleboard rentals are separate purchases.
If you need a rental board, we recommend reserving your paddleboard first, as rental quantities are limited and may sell out.
Purchasing an event ticket does not reserve a paddleboard rental.

7. Can I bring my own paddleboard to a paddle event?
Yes. Guests are welcome to bring their own paddleboards during public paddle events.

Outside alcohol is never permitted on the property at any time.
Outside food is not permitted during events Friday and Sundays. Food is available for purchase from our on-site food truck. We do allow cake or cupcakes to help celebrate a birthday.

9. Is wine tasting available during events?
No. Wine tastings are not offered during events.
During events, we serve wine by the glass, by the bottle, and our wine slushies. If you would like a wine tasting experience, please make a reservation during our regular wine tasting days, which are generally Thursdays and Saturdays.

10. What are your monthly events?

Our regular monthly event schedule includes:

1st Sunday: R&B Sunday
2nd Sunday: Paddle & Pour
3rd Sunday: Motown Sunday
4th Sunday: Latin Brunch

We also offer Friday Night Music and select Friday Glow Paddle events.

Private Events

1. Do you host private events?

Yes. We host private events, luxury picnics, birthdays, corporate events, client appreciation events, anniversaries, micro weddings, and celebrations.

Wine Club

1. How do I join the wine club?
You can join online or during your next visit to the winery.

2. What are the benefits of membership?
Wine club members enjoy exclusive discounts, special events, member-only perks, and access to wine club benefits throughout the year.

3. Can wine club members paddleboard anytime?
Active wine club members may paddleboard during regular business hours, even when a public paddle event is not scheduled.

4. What member benefits do I receive?
Active wine club members enjoy a variety of exclusive benefits, including:
Wine club discounts on wine purchases
Two complimentary tickets to our public paddle events
Complimentary admission to our Sunday winery events
Complimentary admission to Friday winery events when hosted by Valensin Vineyard & Winery
Paddleboard and lake access during regular business hours, even when a public paddle event is not scheduled
Benefits are subject to change and may vary for third-party hosted events.

5. What does active membership mean?
To remain an active wine club member, you must purchase your quarterly wine allocation based on your membership level.
Membership benefits, including event perks, complimentary tickets, discounts, and member paddle access, are available only to active members in good standing.

6. Can I bring guests?
Yes.
Guests are welcome to visit with wine club members. Certain member benefits may be limited to active members only.

7. How often do I receive wine?
All wine club memberships participate in quarterly wine club processing.
The number of bottles received each quarter is determined by your membership level.

8. Can I customize my quarterly wine club order?
Yes.
Approximately two weeks before quarterly wine club processing, members will receive an email asking them to review their upcoming order.
Members may log into their account to customize their wine selection and update their order before processing.
If no changes are made, the order will be processed using the winery’s default wine selection for that quarter.

9. Can I enjoy my quarterly wine club bottles at the winery when I pick them up?
No.
Wine club allocations are intended to be taken home and enjoyed off-site.
If you would like to enjoy wine during your visit, additional bottles may be purchased through the tasting room using your wine club discount.

10. Can I cancel my membership?
Yes.
Members may manage, update, or cancel their membership at any time by logging into their account through our website.

Yes.
Valensin Vineyard & Winery reserves the right to refuse service and remove guests who fail to follow winery policies or whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.

8. Are all guests required to follow posted winery rules?
Yes.
By visiting the property, guests agree to follow all winery policies, event rules, and staff instructions.
